Today, we will see the Ivacy VPN review results and how it compares to another VPN provider. I spent 3 weeks and use their 1 Month plan in order to learn how easy their VPN software to use and what speed they can provide, the protection and security that they offer.
How Much Does Ivacy VPN Cost?

One of Ivacy VPN’s biggest points is their yearly-package.

They offer competitive VPN prices that can match any provider out there. Great thing is, they accept different modes of payment like MasterCard, Paypal, Bitcoin, or Paymentwall.
Now, let us compare the Pros and Cons to see if this is really the right VPN for you.
Pros
Good Speed
To measure the accuracy of this review, I did a couple of speed tests to see how fast Ivacy VPN is. Granted, my ISP speed is only 25mbps and since I am here at Asia ping might be a little higher than expected.
Here are the results;

Ivacy VPN Speed United States Location

Ivacy VPN Speed Germany Location

Ivacy VPN Speed HongKong Location

Ivacy VPN Speed Canada Location
Overall, I think this is great considering the price and my ISP limitations 🙂
No Logging Policy
One of the features that I always look out for is the zero-logging policy. Unfortunately, there are providers that use this but not true to their end. This is why I do not trust any VPN providers that claim a zero-logging policy unless I checked it from their own policy.
Ivacy is true to their word, here’s their policy. No logs, no bandwidth logs, no history.
Good Customer Service
I do not expect much from their customer service since the plan is already cheap. Usually, companies that offer budget-friendly cut back on other services such as customer service.
I did try to reach out to them when my desktop PC is having issues with their software, and they respond usually the same or the next day. The answers were not clear the first time, but they eventually did give me the right direction.

Ivacy VPN Customer Service
256-Bit Encryption
Public WiFi networks are usually where people gain access to their devices online. From the hotel, airports WiFi which everyone thinks is safe is always susceptible to attack.
Many public networks are being used by hackers to run an automated script to monitor and attempt brute-force into their accounts and inject malware or worst, ransomware.
Brute force is a series of combinations of scraped logins and passwords from the internet, these scripts will try to logins using these logins in order to gain access to your account.
Using 256-Bit encryption is considered the strongest defense to this, even the government agencies uses this kind of encryption.
Netflix works! Streaming based-content works just fine, though I only test the United States because I wanted to check out what I am missing. I did not check other streaming services since I do not have a subscription to them.
Cons
Intermittent Connection
Sometimes the speed drops when you are browsing online, I usually re-connect it after. Though it becomes annoying when it happens more than once.
I also got disconnected when I am not using my device, which I find weird.
Customer Service
This has pros and cons because the response will be answered the next day, you have no choice but to wait. I think they can improve on this since we need help and it would mean the world to us if they can reply asap.
